Thank you, Lakewood!

THANK YOU to Lakewood voters and volunteers for your support in the general election! I am so proud to have been selected as your new councilperson At-Large.  I will work hard to make the positive changes that you want to see in Lakewood.  I look forward to working with you and hope to hear from you soon.

I would like to once again express my appreciation to the civic leaders and organizations who endorsed my campaign. These individuals and organizations are helping to create a fresh outlook for Lakewood by supporting my vision for:

•    Better housing code enforcement
•    Improved street and sidewalk conditions
•    Safety for residents and visitors
•    A successful local economy

As your councilperson, I will pursue these goals with the same passion and commitment that I have shown throughout countless hours of service as a volunteer and member of  a range of committees dedicated to improing Lakewood.  I’ll begin by proposing “quick wins” and common sense solutions that maximize the tools and resources that are already available to the city in order to avoid increases to our municipal operational budget.  Through engagement in the community and discussions with current city administration officials, I have already identified many of these opportunities.  Next, I will take risks and propose innovative, new ideas that tackle our most persistent issues.  I will not settle for old methods that no longer serve us well.  With simple, smart solutions, I’ll provide outstanding, energetic service for the citizens of Lakewood.

Once again, thank you for your contributions and support during my campaign.  I truly appreciate it.
